Less than a month after the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Akeweje Olayinka Fafoluyi (Solace), was conferred the chieftaincy title of Aare Bobajiroro of Oko-Irese, another Monarch from the same Irepodun Local Government Area, the Oloro of Oro Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatolye Titiloye, has conferred on him the prestigious title of Bobaselu of Oro Kingdom.
The coronation is scheduled to hold on December 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the New Palace of the Oloro of Oro Kingdom which coincides with the Oro Day 2025 celebration.
The monarch in his letter of notification stated that Akeweje was honoured in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the development of Kwara State.
Oba Titiloye in the notification letter dated October 31, 2025, and addressed to Akeweje, on behalf of the people of Oro Kingdom, added that Solace is appreciated for his dedication to the progress of Irepodun Local Government, Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
Located in the Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, the Oro Kingdom is one of the largest traditional kingdoms in the state and among the most prominent in Nigeria. The kingdom comprises 11 towns, each headed by a Baale, alongside other chiefs.
The honour further underscores Akeweje’s growing recognition across traditional institutions in Kwara State. His consistent engagement in digital governance, youth empowerment, and community-focused initiatives continues to position him as a bridge between government and the people.
