Your Mother Only Brought Your Pregnancy to Offa: Historian reveals Salahudeen Lukman (Eluku Omo ita Adugbo) Not From Offa.
Like everyone, I came across the laughable CV of PDP Chairmanship Candidate who emerged as candidate in Offa despite not being from Offa Local Government according to history on some media platforms and felt maybe because he has forgotten that his own mother only brought his pregnancy to Offa and he is not originally from Offa that’s why he has continued to blackmail every notable Offa sons and daughters and also extended it to Kwara South traditional Council because insulting one king is insulting all kings.
While I do not want to dwell too much on a loser’s propaganda, I would like to appreciate the sincerity of Salahudeen Lukman for coming out to tell the world that after graduating till now he only has “I am a Comrade” as CV, that doesn’t hold water and that should not be the only quality he possesses. No community development activities or self sponsored projects aimed at driving development and building the capacity of youths in Offa. Only empty PDP can give a serial blackmailer of Kwara South traditional Council a listening hear. Aisi ni ile ologbo, ile di ile ekute.
Lukman has graciously told the world that the mindset of the old order under Saraki dynasty where youths are only qualified to be PA to SA and driver to a driver is very potent in him that’s why he can’t survive without begging the political appointees under APC government for survival and lobbying to be PA of SA to a Commissioner. If there wasn’t politics, where would Lukman have been? He should be advised to get a life.
That’s not usefulness but stomach politics driven by laziness. I also heard he has been jumping from Asefon’s iftar to Seyi Tinubu’s Iftar without political ideology just for survival. The same President BoIa Ahmed Tinubu the Kwara South Monarch is serving. We won’t be surprised that at 50yrs he will also be running for Nigeria Youth Parliament or National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) President or whatelse when you’re busy wasting away at your early age only to be attacking a respected Monarch.
At a youthful age, politics should not be seen as a career but avenue to serve the people but in the case of jobless Lukman he can’t survive a month without the APC government he loves to hate yet he is packaging lies instead of admitting he is a well suited beggar. Alot of upright youths will never jumped to any appointee for survival that’s why they can call the bluff of any youth whose career is only coated in pushing “I am/was a Comrade” as the only political CV. A life of community service will kill off any stagnant life without meaningful source of income.
It is therefore amusing, though unfortunate, that a rejected PDP chairmanship aspirant, known widely in the streets as “Eluku Omo ita Adugbo”, has suddenly found the voice to pen down what he calls a political analysis and blackmail against the governor and Kwara South Monarchs, but what in truth amounts to a bitter rant. For someone who staked all—his pride, dignity, and “life and hereafter”—on a failed political ambition, it is understandable that the pain of defeat still runs deep.
But to publicly project his failure on the steady leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON and President Tinubu’s ADC, Lt Col. Nurudeen Yusuf, the new Elemona of Ilemona land in Kwara is not only dishonest—it is laughable.
Let’s get a few things straight.
1. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq: A Deliberate Builder, Not a Noisemaker
Governor AbdulRazaq’s style may not excite those who feed off noise and flamboyance, but history will remember him as a man of structure and silent impact. He doesn’t parade empty titles, he delivers on real reforms: basic education revival, civil service sanitization, youth empowerment, sports development, and above all—restoring the dignity of governance in Kwara.
He has built people. He has fixed institutions. He has broken the chains of godfatherism that kept Kwara politically enslaved for years. If Lukman sees that as weakness, then may Kwara continue to enjoy more of such “weakness.”
2. On Appointments: Facts, Not Frustration
The list of federal appointments shared by Eluku actually makes a stronger case for Governor AbdulRazaq than against him. You can’t claim a governor is weak, and in the same breath admit that multiple high-ranking appointments, including Nigeria Governors’ Forum Chairmanship, happened under his leadership. Who else in Kwara’s history has achieved that?
Isn’t it ironic that a man you call “weak” is now the NGF Chairman, commanding the respect of fellow governors, including your PDP darling governors?
Moreover, appointments in federal establishments follow multiple layers—competence, political alignment, federal character, and yes, consultations. It is illiterate to claim the Governor had “zero input” across board. In fact, even those who rose on merit got easier access and less resistance because Kwara State under Governor AbdulRazaq is now politically clean and nationally respected—not tainted by past corruption or entitlement like Lukman’s own party.
3. On the Writer: A Case of Desperate Relevance
We understand the pain of losing an election. But Lukman, a self-acclaimed comrade, should carry his cross with dignity. Instead, he’s now begging for appointments at the federal level and seeking validation through anti-government propaganda. Kwarans know your history. You can’t pretend to be a hero in public while licking boots in private.
If you had the influence you now fantasize about, why couldn’t you secure even your local government chairmanship ambition? Is it not because the people rejected you for your divisive politics and notorious antecedents?
Your nickname, “Omo Adugbo,” does not represent leadership—it echoes street notoriety. No amount of English can wash that off. And if you say the Governor didn’t make these appointments, did your principal (the infamous “Akotile ta omo ale Ilorin”) make them? Or is it your own imaginary structure that delivered everything for Kwarans?
4. Personal Politics:
If your recent antics are a way to get noticed and be “invited” into the winning APC family, there’s a better way: apologize, retrace your steps, and come through the front door. Don’t write yourself into irrelevance. Kwara is rising—whether Lukman accepts it or not.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has nothing to prove to political jobbers. Likewise the Elemona of Ilemona has shown workings. Their work is already speaking. Their humility is their strength. And the it growing profile—both in Kwara and nationally—is proof that performance trumps propaganda.
Kwarans must be wary of individuals like Lukman, who wears blackmail against traditional institutions like a badge and think media noise equates to influence. We’ve moved past this type. Kwara is in safe hands, and the future is not for bitter losers—it’s for builders.
