Badminton: Kwara Athletes Win Big for Nigeria at First Africa School Sports Games in Algeria

Nigeria’s badminton team ended its participation at the inaugural Africa School Sports Games in Algeria on a high, with a total of six medals won in the badminton events — all driven by the outstanding performances of two Kwara-born athletes, Adekunle Gbotemi and Adekunle Feranmi today.
The duo, representing Nigeria at the continental school sports event, competed in multiple categories and delivered a string of impressive results under the guidance of their coach, Mope Abubakar Kayode, also from Kwara State.
