BREAKING: Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Swears In New Appointees

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has inaugurated two Special Advisers, a new Auditor General, and seven Permanent Secretaries today 22nd April 2025.

The appointees include:

– Alhaji Abdulrazaq Jiddah (Special Adviser, Special Duties)
– Ambassador Umulkhaer Onaolamipo Ahmed Alaye (Special Adviser, Civic Engagement)
– Alayande Fatai (Auditor General)
– Afolabi Olaitan (Permanent Secretary, Energy)
– Shittu Olufunke Mercy (Permanent Secretary, Service Welfare)
– Abdulazeez Tinuke Risikat (Permanent Secretary, Housing and Urban Development)
– Taoheed Abdullahi Ayodeji (Permanent Secretary, Health)
– Abu Anthony Gana (Permanent Secretary, Works)
– Salau Kabiru Abdullahi (Permanent Secretary, Transportation)
– Yahya Muhammed (Permanent Secretary, Livestock Development)

In his charge, Governor AbdulRazaq said, “Your appointment places you in a privileged position to serve God and humanity, to make things better than you meet them, and to contribute to the development of our state through your offices.”

He urged the appointees to serve with integrity and diligence, adding, “Please remember that you have been chosen from a population of over 3 million people. They look up to you as leaders, mentors, and exemplars.”

The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Mamman Saba Jubril, also tasked the appointees to be diligent and committed to their duties.

The appointees pledged to discharge their duties with fairness and integrity.
