BREAKING: Labour Party Close Case At The Presidential Election Petition Court After Presenting 13 Witnesses

Labour Party has closed its case at the Presidential Election Petition Court after presenting 13 witnesses on Friday.

The party challenging Independent National Electoral Commission for declaring candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu as the winner of 2023 presidential election.

The party claims that Tinubu failed to obtain the 25% of the votes necessary to win the election in at least two-thirds of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, as required by INEC.

In the election, Tinubu getting 8,794,726 votes, while the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) Atiku Abubakar received 6,984,520. Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party, gained a total of 6,101,533 votes.
