The Executive Chairman of Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has expressed optimism that Kwara United will triumph over Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko, in their CAF Confederation Cup clash.
Speaking in an exclusive online interview with Pristinegist Media on Sunday, September 21, 2025, Mogaji, who is currently in Ghana with the team, assured that the Harmony Boys are well-prepared for the challenge ahead.
“The boys are fully ready and we are promising victory, both home and away,” Mogaji said confidently. “The best way to compensate our sports-loving Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is by giving our very best and ensuring we win.”
Kwara United will face Asante Kotoko in the first leg encounter today at 2:00 p.m. Nigerian time. The return leg is scheduled to hold in Abeokuta, Ogun State, where the Harmony Boys will aim to seal their qualification.
Mogaji further appealed to fans and supporters to remain optimistic and continue to pray for the team’s success.
“We urge our fans to stay positive and keep praying. With their support, we will return home with victory,” he concluded.
