In a strategic move to escape relegation, Gombe United has made a significant announcement by signing Bala Nikyu, a seasoned veteran in Nigerian football management, as their new Technical Adviser.
In a statement released by Shuaibu Muhammad Angazy, The Head of Media and Communication today 29th of March 2024.
Nikyu brings a wealth of experience to the table, having served as the Technical Adviser for several prominent clubs in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), including Wikki Tourists, Katsina United, and Nasarawa United.
Notably, he has also held the position of head coach at Niger Tornadoes, showcasing his extensive understanding of the league dynamics.
Gombe United’s decision to enlist Nikyu’s expertise comes at a crucial juncture as they gear up for the remainder of the NPFL fixtures.
However, with the club aiming to secure its standing in the league, the management believes that Nikyu’s leadership will offer the necessary guidance to overcome the challenges ahead.
