Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has completed the reconstruction of the 12km Ajase Ipo – Oke Iya Road in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
This achievement has been met with praise from the people of Irepodun, who are excited about the improved road safety and boost to the local economy.
According to Olayinka Fafoluyi, Senior Special Assistant, New Media to the Governor, “The Ajase Ipo – Oke Iya Road connects several agrarian communities in Irepodun, and its reconstruction will improve road safety and boost the local economy as local farmers can easily transport their farm produce to the markets.”
This project is part of Governor AbdulRazaq’s rural-urban renewal initiative, which aims to improve critical infrastructure across the state. The initiative has received positive reviews and has improved the lives of many Kwarans.
As stated by Olayinka Fafoluyi, “The Governor’s rural-urban renewal initiative hasn’t only improved critical infrastructure, including the roads in the state, but has also attracted positive reviews across board.”
