Champion of England with Manchester City for the 4th year in a row, Pep Guardiola was named coach of the season for the 5th time, the Premier League announced this Tuesday evening.
The 53-year-old coach, who has been with Citizens for eight seasons, won the distinction for the fifth time.
In England, only legendary Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson has done better than Guardiola, with 13 league titles gleaned during 28 years at the helm of his club.
Under Guardiola however, City became the first English club to achieve the Premier League/FA Cup/League Cup domestic treble in 2019, before achieving the continental treble in 2023 Premier League/FA Cup/Champions League.
