Some former Chairmen of Local Government Areas in Kwara State, pledged their undiluted loyalty to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and their full support for his re-election bid.
The former local government council representatives made the declaration at a closed-door meeting with the Director-General of the party (APC) Campaign Council, Ambassador Yahaya Seriki-Gambari and other campaign committees.
They said the governor should be allowed to complete his tenure and some of the good works he had started.
Names of the former chairmen presented at the meeting are: Umar Belle (Edu local government); Adebayo Joseph (Oke-Ero local government); Fatai Adeniyi, (Ifelodun local government ); Joshua Jalala, (Oyun local government); and Saidu Musa, (Baruten local government); Jubril Salihu, (Patigi local government); Yinka Dallas, (Ekit local government); Oladipo Omole (Isin local government ); Mumini Lah, (Ilorin East), and Bata Kahuma, (Kaima local government ).
They concluded on going back to their different masses to canvass massively for the governor and ensure the second time achievement.
Yahaya Seriki praised and appreciated the efforts of the former chairmen for standing firm with the vision and mission of AbdulRazaq’s administration. He also commended them for staying with the party, All Progressive Congress advised them to sustain the tempo and never allow anybody to lure them and their people.
Yahaya Seriki as well as other committee ensured them that their desires for the betterment of Kwaran State shall be done and AbdulRaman AbdulRasak will appreciate them beyond their expectations.
