Headless Horror: Man Kills Woman In Hotel, Takes Her Head Away
A gruesome murder rocked the city of Yola, the Adamawa State capital, on Friday morning, as a man killed a woman in a hotel room and fled with her severed head.
The man, whose identity is yet to be revealed, checked into the hotel with the woman on Thursday evening, around 7 pm. He allegedly drugged her and then used a sharp object to cut off her head.
He left the hotel around 8:30 pm, carrying the head in a bag, and claiming that he was going to buy some items from a nearby store. He never returned.
The hotel staff discovered the headless body of the woman the next morning, when they went to clean the room. They alerted the police, who arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.
The police spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, confirmed the incident to SaharaReporters. He said that the police recovered some narcotics from the room, and that they had arrested three suspects in connection with the crime.
He said that the police were still investigating the motive behind the murder, and the whereabouts of the killer and the head.
He appealed to the public to provide any information that could help the police to solve the case and bring the culprit to justice.
