I Removed My Father’s Private Part For Money Ritual – 20-year-old Boy Confesses
Ridwan, a young man of 20 years, has admitted that he strangled his own father to death and cut off some parts of his body for ritual purposes in Ogun State.
The suspect was apprehended on Thursday by the Ogun State So-Safe Corps at Oshoku village, Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
According to the statement of the corps spokesman, Moruf Yusuf, the So-Safe Corps Commander, Soji Ganzallo, said that around 12am on Thursday, August 31, the corps officers heard a weird noise coming from a building at Oshoku.
The officers entered the building to check what was going on and were shocked to see a dead man lying in a pool of blood, while the alleged murderer ran away from the scene, Ganzallo said.
The statement added that Ganzallo ordered the Zonal Commander, Ijebu Zonal Command, Marcus Ayankoya, to capture the suspect within 24 hours.
“The suspect was caught hiding in a bush.
“He confessed that he used a rope to choke his father, Ishau, and a knife to cut off the parts of his body that he needed for the ritual,” he said.
The corps commander also said that the suspect revealed that “he only took the genitals, voice box, and four teeth of his father as instructed by a ritualist he named as Baba Kekere.”
Ganzallo further said that the suspect refused to disclose the location of the ritualist.
He said that the suspect was handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Ogbere Divisional Headquarters, for more investigation and possible prosecution.
