The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) said it has set 140 and 100 as benchmark for 2022/23 admissions into institution in the country.
This was disclosed in a presentation at the 2023 Policy meeting on admission into institution by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede in Abuja on Saturday.
Oloyede said 100 had been approved as cut off mark into Polytechnics and Colleges of Education while 140 and above for universities.
Oloyede explained that the aforementioned points were the minimum, but that does not mean that institutions must comply with it.
