The Sabon Garin Nassarawa-Tirkaniya area of the Kaduna State’s Chikun local government area will immediately be subject to a 24-hour curfew, the Kaduna State Government declared on Monday.
Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, stated in a succinct statement that the decision was made as a result of a breakdown in law and order that resulted in the deaths of two individuals in an episode of urban gang warfare.
In order to restore order while investigations are ongoing, security authorities have been instructed to impose the curfew in the mentioned locality. So, the curfew in this area, which is effective right away, is pressed upon the populace.
