Kwara Baseball Association Appreciates Gov. AbdulRazaq’s Aide, Ishola Kayode, for His Support and Generosity

The Kwara State Baseball and Softball Association has expressed appreciation to Hon. Ishola Kayode, Special Assistant on Digital Innovation to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his generous support to Team Kwara Baseball.
During the official trophy presentation ceremony on October 24, 2025, the victorious Team Kwara, winners of the just-concluded Honors Independent National Baseball League, handed over their trophy to the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji.
At the event, Hon. Ishola Kayode, who received the team alongside the Chairman, pledged a cash donation of ₦50,000 in support of the players’ outstanding performance. The pledged sum was later delivered to the team on October 27, 2025, by Mallam Mogaji on behalf of Hon. Kayode.
Speaking on behalf of the association, Oloyin Bolaji Lateef, Secretary of the Kwara State Baseball and Softball Association, appreciated Hon. Kayode’s kind gesture and encouragement, describing it as a reflection of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration’s commitment to youth and sports development in the state.
He noted that the association remains committed to promoting baseball and softball across Kwara State while nurturing young talents to represent the state and the nation with pride.
