SGFC Athletics began their participation in the Kwara Kiddies League with a resounding 4-1 win against Achiever FA in the league cup opener held today.
Mahmud Ridwan opened the scoring, followed by Awal AbdulKadir who doubled their lead in the twelfth minute.
Although Olojoku Ridwan managed to reduce the deficit four minutes later, SGFC Athletics sealed their victory with a second-half brace from Taiye AbdulRazaq.
As a result of their triumph, SGFC Athletics have advanced to the quarterfinals of the league, while Achiever FA will continue their preparations for the start of the league.
