Surprise Football Academy defeated Solicitor FA by a score of 2-1 in a fiercely contested match at the Kwara Football Academy Pitch, in the ongoing “Kwara Kiddies League”.
The victory secured Surprise FA’s place in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Zakariyau Abdulbasit was responsible for both of Sunrise FA’s goals, opening the scoring in the ninth minute and adding a second in the 36th minute.
Despite Yahaya Yusuf’s goal for Solicitor with only nine minutes remaining, they were unable to find an equalizer, despite pushing forward. Surprise FA managed to hold on to their victory and move on to the next round.
Abdulbasit was recognized for his exceptional performance during the game, earning the title of Man of the Match.
