In a significant stride towards community development and fostering sportsmanship, the inaugural ‘Kwara Made US’ 5-aside football tournament has garnered substantial support through key partnerships.
Organized by the AMA-PRO Africa Development Program and Phreestyle Sports, the Kwara Made US initiative aims to celebrate Kwara State’s role in creating opportunities and sustainable platforms for both indigenes and non-indigenes.
Leading the charge among the project’s esteemed partners is ValueJet Airline, a prominent player in Nigeria’s aviation industry. The collaboration showcases a commitment to nurturing grassroots football and fostering community engagement.
Other notable partners include the Kwara State Sports Commission, Kwara State Football Association, Exquisite Kreatifhomes Limited, and Abraysports Football Club. Their involvement underscores a collective effort to uplift local talent and provide a stage for aspiring footballers.
The tournament, which kicked off with 36 teams, today, 19th of December 2023, has now progressed to its second round, witnessing intense competition as teams vie for victory through captivating performances on the pitch.
Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support, Shogo Shodunnke, CEO of Phreestyle Sports, emphasized the commitment to delivering impactful projects throughout the year.

The Kwara Made US 5-Aside project now stands proudly alongside other initiatives championed by Phreestyle Sports and the Ama-Pro Africa Development Program.
