Kwara Sports Leader, Mogaji Backs Kwara United to Bounce Back Against Kano Pillars

The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has urged Kwara United FC fans to remain steadfast in their support despite the team’s recent setback against Sunshine Stars.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Pristinegist Media on Friday, March 7, 2025, Mogaji expressed his disappointment over the Harmony Boys’ 4-2 defeat in their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Week 27 fixture at Ikene, Ogun State. However, he emphasized the importance of moving forward and focusing on the club’s upcoming fixtures.

“I am not happy with the result against Sunshine Stars, but that is football. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. What matters is how we prepare for the next matches,” Mogaji stated.

He acknowledged the frustration among supporters but encouraged them to stay positive and continue backing the team. “It is normal for fans to be upset when their team loses, but I advise them not to be discouraged. The team needs their support now more than ever,” he added.

Looking ahead, Mogaji expressed confidence in the squad’s ability to recover and return to winning ways in their next match. “We will get back to our winning race against Kano Pillars,” he assured.

Kwara United will now shift their focus to their upcoming NPFL fixture, determined to bounce back and strengthen their position in the league standings.
