In a bid to enhance vehicular movement and boost the local economy, the Kwara State Government, led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has embarked on the upgrade of Ibrahim Taiwo Road in Ilorin.
This project is part of the administration’s rural-urban initiative, aimed at promoting economic growth and development through infrastructure development.
The Ibrahim Taiwo Road is a critical commercial route in the state, and its upgrade is expected to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion. Governor AbdulRazaq has invested significantly in the state’s infrastructure over the last five years, recognizing its vital role in driving economic growth.
The project has received commendations from stakeholders, including the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, who praised Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to infrastructural development ². The Commissioner for Works, Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo also emphasized the importance of community support for the project’s success.
