The maiden edition of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s Special Ramadan lecture is set to hold on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in Ilorin.
According to Imam Ibrahim Zubair Danmaigoro, secretary of the Organising Committee, the lecture will take place at the AbdulRazaq’s Surulere Family House, Ilorin, from 4-6 pm every Saturday throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
The lecture, themed “Preserving the footprints of our forebears in Ilorin Emirate as Muslim Ummah,” will feature guest lecturers Dr. Husain Musa M-Bashir, a lecturer at the University of Ilorin and national missioner of Sheikh Alimi Foundation, and Alfa Muktar Lukman Isale-Koto.
Top government functionaries, traditional rulers, community leaders, prominent politicians, women and youths, business tycoons, and Muslim associations are expected to attend the lecture.
This event is part of the governor’s efforts to promote Islamic values and foster community engagement during the holy month of Ramadan.
