The Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission has announced that local government council elections will take place across the 16 local government areas of the state on September 21, 2024.
In a statement released by the electoral body, preparations are underway to ensure the smooth conduct of the elections within the specified date.
“We are putting arrangements in place to ensure that the elections are held within the set date. Further details regarding the election timetable and activities will be provided soon, all things being equal,” the statement read.
