The Kwara State Hospital Management Board (KWHMB) has successfully installed a 10KVA solar inverter at the Ajikobi Cottage Hospital in Ilorin West, ensuring a reliable 24-hour power supply.
According to Dr. Abdulraheem Malik, Executive Secretary of KWHMB, “The installation of the solar inverter will significantly improve healthcare service delivery to residents in the area.”
Malik emphasized that the project resulted from a thorough needs assessment and assured that the state government, under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration, will extend similar upgrades to facilities statewide.
He urged hospital staff to take responsibility for maintaining the solar inverter, ensuring it serves its intended purpose.
The development was announced by Adamu Usman, Press Secretary of the Kwara State Hospitals Management Board.
