Youths in Kwara State have called on Professor Fatai Aremu, popularly known as Dadin-Kowa, to vie for the Kwara Central Senatorial seat in the 2027 elections today 12th of January 2025.
The call was made during a Personality Lecture organized by the Kwara Youth Mobilisation for Good Governance (KWYMGG) in honor of the esteemed academic and community leader.
The event, themed “Youth, Governance and Development: Celebrating Professor Fatai Aremu’s Contributions,” recognized Professor Aremu’s longstanding commitment to the development of Kwara Central and the state at large. Speakers at the event highlighted his dedication to education, governance, and youth empowerment as key pillars of his legacy.
Many youths at the event expressed their belief that Professor Aremu’s experience and expertise would make him an ideal candidate to represent Kwara Central in the Senate. They emphasized that his leadership could drive positive changes and foster meaningful development across the district.
“We need a visionary leader like Professor Aremu to represent us. His passion for education, governance, and community development is what Kwara Central needs in 2027,” one speaker stated.
Professor Fatai Aremu, known for his advocacy for grassroots empowerment, has yet to officially declare his political intentions. However, the overwhelming support from the youths signals growing anticipation for his possible participation in the forthcoming elections.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment from KWYMGG to continue promoting good governance and amplifying the voices of young people in Kwara State.
