Kwarans present at the ongoing AFCON 2025 in Morocco have praised the Executive Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his consistent support for sports development and the welfare of sports stakeholders from the state.
The delegation, made up of sports administrators, journalists, and football stakeholders, expressed appreciation for the coordination and support provided by the Kwara State Sports Commission, led by its Executive Chairman, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji.
Members of the Kwara delegation in Morocco include the Executive Chairman of Kwara GIS, Mallam Suleiman Babatunde; the Permanent Member representing Kwara North at the Kwara State Sports Commission, Hon. Abdullahi Yunusa Lade; the Director of Sports, Kwara State, Mallam Ibrahim Oladele Bako; the Chairman of SWAN Kwara State Chapter, Mallam Ismaila Ayodeji; the CEO and Publisher of SportSpro News, Bayo Issa; the Head of Communications at Kwara Football Academy, Ibrahim Jatto; and the Head of the Registration and Transfer Unit at KFA, Olaide Ahli, among others.
The group noted that their presence and coordination at the continental championship reflect the Governor’s commitment to inclusive sports development, unity, and positive representation of Kwara State on national and international platforms.
They further commended the leadership of the Kwara State Sports Commission for fostering collaboration among stakeholders and projecting the state positively while supporting the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the ongoing tournament.
