The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has arrived in Morocco to lend his full support to the Super Eagles at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Mallam Mogaji’s presence in Morocco underscores the continued commitment of Kwara State under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to national sports development and solidarity with Nigeria’s senior men’s national football team as they compete for continental glory.
Meanwhile, Bola Mogaji acknowledged the supports of the governor in ensuring that Kwara continued to play prominent role in global sports.
The Executive Chairman arrived with a delegation of sports administrators and stakeholders from Kwara State. The delegation includes Suleiman Babatunde, Executive Chairman of GIS; Honourable Abdullahi Yunusa Lade, Permanent Member representing Kwara North at the Kwara State Sports Commission; Ibrahim Jatto, Head of Media and Communications at the Kwara Football Association (KFA); and Olaide Ahli, Head of Player Registration and Transfer at the KFA, among others.
Speaking on the visit, the delegation noted that their presence is aimed at boosting team morale and demonstrating institutional support for the Super Eagles as they pursue success at the tournament. The move also reflects Kwara State’s alignment with national sporting aspirations and its tradition of backing Nigerian teams at major international competitions.
The Super Eagles are currently engaged in the group stages of the AFCON 2025 tournament, with hopes of adding another continental title to Nigeria’s football history, as support continues to pour in from stakeholders across the country.
