A Twitter user has claimed that he would prefer losing all his savings on the Nigerian Fintech app, which has become a savings platform for many Nigerians, than seeing either of the two world’s best player wins the much-coveted trophy.
While many football fans across the world are keenly supporting their various national teams and/or alongside Argentina or Portugal, the country of the two football icons, it’s rather strange that anyone would prefer he loses his life savings than watch either of the two win the world cup.
Reacting to the post made by the Nigerian, a Twitter user said, “You prefer what? Please prefer your money to get lost, don’t put all of us in danger for you.” Another user added, Please leave us out of it, dear. A ni r’esu oh (loosely translated as “may we not see the devil).
