The former Lagos State governor and the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has protested and insisted that there’s no proof, he gets a fraction of Lagos state income despite public rumours.
This was revealed in an interview with BBC Africa on Tuesday when Tinubu insisted that since he left office in 2007, he had not received any government appointment or contract.
He added that those behind the allegations were only envious of his popularity and chances of winning the 2023 election, just as he revealed that he got his wealth through investments in inherited real estates business.
