As athletes from across the country converge in Asaba for the 2025 National Youth Games, the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has sent a rallying message to Team Kwara, encouraging focus, discipline, and unity today.
In his message, Mallam Mogaji welcomed the contingent of athletes, coaches, and officials, thanking God for their safe journey. He reminded them of the enormous responsibility they bear as ambassadors of Kwara State.
“Now that you are settled, I urge you to remain focused and prepare diligently for the tasks ahead — the screening, the grand opening, and the competitions,” he said. “Remember, you carry the hopes and pride of Kwara State.”
Calling for commitment and excellence, he urged the team to embody the core values of the Harmony State. “Let your conduct and performance speak for the spirit of Kwara — a spirit rooted in unity, hard work, and determination,” he added.
Mallam Mogaji reaffirmed the Commission’s unwavering support for the athletes, expressing confidence in their abilities and aspirations. “We believe in your talent, we stand firmly behind you, and we look forward to celebrating your success in Asaba.”
The Kwara State Sports Commission remains committed to identifying and nurturing young talents through structured, competitive platforms like the National Youth Games.
