Borrusia Dortmund confirmed former midfielder and Ex Real Madrid Player, Nuri Şahin as new head coach after Edin Terzic departure.
The former BVB player himself joined the coaching staff earlier this year and will now lead the team through June 2027.
After the announcement of the departure of Edin Terzic on Thursday, Borussia Dortmund wasted no time since it formalized this Friday the arrival of Nuri Sahin (35 years old) to replace him.
The former midfielder, who played a total of eleven years at BVB (274 matches, 26 goals and 49 assists), his training club, had been Terzic’s assistant since January.
He has signed until 2027 and will have his first experience as a head coach in Germany.
