
The much-anticipated 2025 Pro Route League season is set to kick off on Wednesday, August 7, with twelve elite grassroots football academies and clubs from across the region battling for supremacy and developmental pride.
The opening fixture will see defending champions KFA (Kwara Football Academy) square off against FC Zeus in what promises to be an electrifying curtain-raiser at 10:45 AM.

Chief Operating Officer of the league, Mr. Ibrahim Zubair, who made the announcement on Sunday, stated that this season promises to be more exciting, intense, and impactful for youth development.
“The Pro Route League continues to be a platform where raw talent is nurtured and exposed to high-level competition. We’re excited about the level of preparation and the quality of teams this year,” Mr. Zubair said.
He further emphasized the league’s commitment to discipline, fair play, and providing scouts and stakeholders with a viable platform to identify the next generation of football stars.
