Resident Doctors Suspends 5-days Warning Strike

The National Association of Resident Doctors, or NARD, suspended its 5-day nationwide warning strike on Sunday night.

According to reports, the Association’s National President, Dr. Emeka Orji, has ordered that all resident doctors return to work by 8 a.m. today (monday) in all Federal and State Teaching facilities, as well as other facilities where resident doctors are taught.

Remember that the group went on strike on Wednesday after the federal government failed to meet its demands.

According to the NARD president, “progress made will be reviewed on June 2nd, 2023 during the association’s general meeting, where the next line of action will be decided.”

Prior to the walkout, NARD gave the government a two-week deadline to meet its demands.
