Seamless Transition: Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme Extends into Intensive Holiday Session

The Kwara State Government, through the Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Innovation, has officially announced the commencement of the 2026 Holiday Session of the Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme. Beginning Monday, March 30, 2026, this phase ensures students remain academically engaged and technically productive.

This initiative follows the successful completion of three weeks of rigorous, hands-on revision conducted before the end-of-term break. With foundational mastery now secured across all participating institutions, the holiday program shifts its focus toward deep-learning modules, allowing students to harmonize their previous knowledge with advanced technical concepts in a relaxed environment.

The holiday session is specifically designed to continue the intensive revision of the 2025 Curriculum. This strategic bridging period is essential for reinforcing core competencies before students transition into the more complex 2026 Curriculum, which is scheduled to take full effect at the start of the Third Term.

During this period, the curriculum moves beyond theoretical instruction to emphasize applied programming and peer-to-peer innovation. By removing the immediate pressure of regular examinations, the program allows learners to dedicate significant time to mastering programming languages and developing creative digital applications under the direct guidance of specialized tutors.
