
The Kwara State squash family has expressed deep appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for the reappointment of their patron and squash icon, Coach Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, as the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Kwara State Squash, Prof. Buhari Mikhaila Olayinka the body described Mogaji’s reappointment as a “renewed mandate” and a testament to his outstanding leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to grassroots sports development in Kwara State.
The squash family hailed Mogaji as not only a legend of the game but also a symbol of inspiration whose decades of service as a player, coach, and administrator continue to shape the sporting landscape in the state and beyond.
“We praise God for the life of Coach Mogaji and celebrate this milestone achievement. We pray for God’s continued guidance and wisdom for him as he pilots the affairs of sports in Kwara State,” the statement added.
Mogaji, who is also a life patron of squash in Kwara, has remained a central figure in sports administration, grassroots talent discovery, and youth development initiatives across the state.
