US Senator’s Aid Filmed Having Intimacy At US Senate Hearing Room
A scandal has erupted in the U.S. Senate after a video of a staffer having gay sex in a hearing room was leaked online.
The staffer, identified as Aidan Maese-Czeropski, was fired by Democratic Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin, who issued a brief statement saying he was no longer employed by the Senate and declining to comment further.
The video, which shows Maese-Czeropski engaging in anal sex in Senate room Hart 216, was obtained by the Daily Caller, a conservative news outlet, and posted on its website. The Capitol Police are investigating the incident as a possible breach of security and misuse of public property.
Maese-Czeropski is also accused of confronting Jewish Republican Ohio Rep. Max Miller and shouting “Free Palestine!” during an interview with NBC News. However, he denied the allegation and claimed he was being targeted for his sexual orientation.
“I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgement, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace. Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated.”
Legal experts say that Maese-Czeropski could face criminal charges for his actions, such as lewd, indecent, or obscene acts, trespassing, or violating Senate rules. George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley wrote on his blog that such porn videos in public places have led to prosecutions in other countries and questioned whether Maese-Czeropski had any commercial motives for his video.
