We Can Secure A Better Position On The Table, Dogo Motivates Players After Kwara United Away Draw Against Sunshine

 

Kwara United displayed resilience in a thrilling encounter against Sunshine Stars, securing a 1-1 draw at Akure Township Stadium in the Nigerian Professional Football League’s second leg.

The match kicked off at 4 pm Nigeria time, witnessing a balanced play in the first 15 minutes. However, Sunshine Stars took the lead in the 28th minute with a goal from Promise Awosanmi, ending the first half 1-0.

Coach Kabir Dogo’s tactical changes proved pivotal, as he substituted Shola Rahman, Godwin Oshagbemi, and Hadji Gata for Omaka Anthony, Abubakar Garba, and Ibrahim in the 60th minute. Wasiu Alade entered the game in the 72nd minute for Emmanuel.

In the 74th minute, Kwara United equalized with a goal from Abubakar Garuba, marking his second goal of the season. Despite Sunshine Stars’ efforts, Dogo’s boys defended well, securing the 1-1 draw.
