Nigerian actress, Olawunmi Toriola, has affirmed that Justice must be served against thugs who attacked and injured them during a movie set in Lagos.
A few days ago, some hoodlums attacked Wunmi Toriola and her colleagues while filming her new movie “Ikeji mi” at Sawmill Gbagada, area of Lagos. Akeem Adeyemi, a crew member, was seriously injured in the attack.
While decrying the attack in her social media post, the actress said, “This is what area boys did. See what peaceful filming turned into.”
However, she has since assured the public that Akeem, who had been stabbed close to his eyes, was now in stable condition. “We pray for fast recovery even though we have lost count of the loss this has caused me as the producer and my entire crew as some of our equipment was destroyed.”
She added that the Nigerian police force has been working tirelessly to bring the hoodlums to justice
