Kwara Football Academy U19 continued their impressive run in the Nigeria Youth League with a solid 0–2 away win over AMG Sports, showcasing discipline, tactical maturity, and standout performances across the pitch.
KFA U19 travelled for the demanding Week 8 fixture looking to extend their momentum—and they did exactly that with a dominant display that reflected the team’s growing confidence.
The match opened with both sides testing each other cautiously, but KFA gradually took control of midfield through the brilliance of Adam Saheed, whose composure, distribution, and work rate earned him the Player of the Match honour.
First-Half: KFA Take Control
KFA’s organised structure allowed them to dominate possession. The breakthrough came following excellent team movement, with the attackers combining well to stretch the AMG backline. KFA eventually took the lead through sustained pressure, capitalising on defensive lapses from the hosts.
Right-back Ridwan Ogunfowokan played a key role throughout the first period, providing width, pace, and timely defensive interventions.

KFA resumed with the same energy, and their pressing forced AMG Sports into errors.
