Terrorists’ Wives Abducted By Zamfara Residents In Revenge For Farmers’ Kidnapping
A youth leader of Birnin Magaji in Zamfara State told PRISTINEGIST that the community abducted terrorists’ wives in revenge.
The terrorists had kidnapped some farmers from their farms recently. He said the community faced frequent attacks by the terrorists. They could not farm or live in peace.
The community members caught the terrorists’ wives, including a pregnant one, on their way back to their hideouts. They wanted to exchange them for the farmers.
Zamfara State has witnessed many terrorist attacks lately.
In August, PRISTINEGIST reported that terrorists kidnapped 80 children from Tsafe Local Government Area.
In another incident, the police and the army searched for eight kidnapped NYSC members. They were travelling from Uyo to Sokoto for national service when the terrorists stopped their bus.
