Gov. AbdulRazaq Hails Tinubu Over Appointment of Kwara APC Chairman Fagbemi as Governing Board Chair

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Sunday Fagbemi, as Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Cereals Research Institute (NCRI), Badeggi, Niger State.

Describing the appointment as a “beautiful addition” to the growing list of presidential recognitions extended to Kwara State, Governor AbdulRazaq said it reflects President Tinubu’s continued trust in the state’s political leadership and loyalty to the APC.

“This appointment is yet another affirmation of Mr. President’s appreciation for the unwavering support of the people of Kwara State and the leadership of our party. We are deeply grateful for this honour,” the Governor said in a statement issued on Tuesday.

Governor AbdulRazaq expressed strong confidence in Prince Fagbemi’s capacity to deliver on the new national assignment, describing him as a seasoned administrator and a loyal party stalwart.

“Prince Fagbemi has proven to be a reliable and dedicated leader within the APC. I am confident he will bring excellence, integrity, and diligence to this new responsibility and justify the confidence reposed in him by Mr. President,” he added.

The Governor also reiterated the unwavering support of Kwara State for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, assuring that the people remain committed to the administration’s vision of a prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.
