Rapper Daniel Darius, popularly known as Dandizzy has fired Lagosians on Twitter today.
Dandizzy said despite the cost of living in Lagos, people who live there are not living comfortably.
“You people pay for luxury and do not even enjoy any luxury, you pay to rent and still live like you‘re in boarding school.”
He lamented that Lagosians should stop praising Lagos and that other states in Nigeria are even better than Lagos.
“Dear lagosians there are 36states in nigeria, nigeria does not start and end in lagos!! People live in calabar, porthacourt akwa ibom, enugu benin and delta&they have amazing lives and they do not drink yellow water and spend half of their lives in traffic or pay expensive rent.”
He further said, “even Lagos people go to Abuja and think they’re abroad, they cannot believe that ordinary people should enjoy the basic things Abuja people enjoy, because of their classist mentality, most mainland people have better lives than island people.”
“Most people will say I cannot afford lagos life lol, me wey Dey do urgent 2k for people wey Dey get likes pass me for Instagram, me wey Dey follow una big ballers go club, them no Dey hold money to pay for anything and I Dey chest my bill, lol if only you people know the truth,” he added.
However, many people have replied his twits.
Abiodun Sanusi replied him on tweeter, “Why are you crying? Who stole your bread?”
Onabo Silifat asked him, “Abeg! Wetin you dey do? I no understand again! Do they ban you in Lagos ni?”
