A progressive group, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Legacy Advocates (AALA), held its maiden annual religious lecture on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Aran-Orin Town Hall, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The lecture featured the Chief Imam of Aran-Orin, Imam Tijani Suleiman Ajide, and the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Aran-Orin chapter, Rev. T. O. Arowolo, who delivered spiritual messages at the interfaith gathering and offered prayers for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, who was represented by the Chief Whip, Hon. Abdulganiyu Gabriel Abolarin, led other political office holders from across the state to the event.
The welcome address was delivered by the Mayegun of Oko, Chief Sunday Aremu (DOSA), at the programme, which attracted aspirants for various elective positions across the Irepodun/Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Isin Federal Constituency. The closing prayer was offered by the Chief Imam of Ajase-Ipo, Imam Alhaji Taofeek Atoloye.
Following the lecture, the convener of the pro-Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq group, Akeweje Olayinka Fafoluyi, ensured that attendees broke their fast, prayed, and interacted with fellow supporters of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration in Irepodun Local Government Area.
Akeweje appreciated all attendees, including the All Progressives Congress (APC) executives who graced the event, and wished them a safe return to their respective destinations.
