Governor AbdulRazaq’s Vision Drives Digital Revolution as Kwara Coding Programme Records Strong Growth in Week Four

The fourth week of the 2026 third term session of the Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme has recorded significant progress, reflecting the steady rise in students’ digital skills and growing confidence in technology-based learning.
The programme, which continues to expand across participating centres in the state, is gradually transitioning students from basic exposure to more practical engagement with advanced digital tools and concepts.
Throughout the week, learners actively engaged in core areas such as programming, web development, data analysis, and cybersecurity. Students practiced foundational Python concepts and explored front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while also strengthening their understanding of safe and responsible internet usage.
A key highlight of the week was the ongoing pre-evaluation exercise, designed to assess students’ knowledge retention and practical understanding. The assessment provided instructors with valuable insights into learners’ progress and highlighted areas that require further attention as the programme advances.
In a bid to further enhance delivery standards, facilitators participated in a rigorous Training of Trainers session held on Friday, May 22, 2026. The session strengthened instructional capacity and reinforced a shared commitment to delivering high-quality digital education across the state.
The training is part of a broader strategy to align teaching methods with global best practices in technology education, equipping instructors with modern tools and approaches needed to effectively guide students through increasingly advanced digital literacy modules.
