The 2025 Summer Edition of the Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme officially commenced on Monday, August 3, across participating schools in Kwara State, marking another significant milestone in the state’s drive to equip young learners with essential digital and technological skills.
The six-week programme, designed to expose students to coding, digital literacy, and emerging technologies, will run every Monday to Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, providing participants with hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for the demands of the digital economy.
The initiative underscores the commitment of the Kwara State Government, under the visionary leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, to transforming education through innovation and technology. Over the years, the administration has consistently invested in programmes that empower young people with relevant digital competencies, positioning Kwara as one of Nigeria’s leading states in technology-driven education.
