“Forgive Me For All The Wrongs I did To You” – Ganduje Begs Kano Residents
The governor of Kano state, Umar Ganduje, has appealed to anyone in the state he may have offended during his two-term tenure as governor, to forgive him.
In a statement released by the state’s commissioner for information and internal affairs, Muhammad Garba, Governor Ganduje spoke in his Eid-el-Fitri message on Friday, April 21.
“Forgive Me For All The Wrongs I did To You” – Ganduje Begs Kano Residents 
The governor said he was not holding any grudges against anyone and had forgiven people who had disparaged him “for whatever reasons.”
In the statement, he was quoted as saying: “For those who we have wronged, forgive us, on my part, I’ve forgiven those who wronged me no matter the weight of the offence.”
The governor’s call for forgiveness comes as his term comes to an end on May 29.
