Governor AbdulRahman Abdurazaq’s delegates including the Chairman of Irepodun Local Government Area, Hon. Abdulazeez Tinuola Yakub; the Member representing Irepodun State Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Olushola Odetundun; alongside Olayinka Fafoluyi JP, anipr, ARPA, Senior Special Assistant, New Media to the Governor, paid a condolence visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba Joseph Oyeyipo Babalola, the Alaran of Aran-Orin.
Today, the 8th of March 2025, the visit followed the passing of Olori Babalola, the late queen of the town.
The delegation also visited the family of the late Ipetu/Rore/Aran-Orin APC Ward Chairman, Mr. Adebisi Adeyemo, a staunch and dedicated party loyalist. They delivered a condolence message from Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, to his widow and prayed for divine comfort for the bereaved family.
In the spirit of Ramadan and Lent, the officials extended their visit to two prominent traditional rulers: Oba Samuel Olabanji Olarewaju Erinfolami, the Onipetu of Ipetu-Igbomina, and Oba Ezekiel Oyewole, the Onirore of Rore.
The visit was aimed at appreciating the monarchs for their steadfast support and prayers for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The revered monarchs expressed their delight at receiving the delegation, emphasizing that unity among party members is a positive sign of the party’s strength.
They also offered prayers for the visitors and Governor AbdulRazaq, seeking divine guidance for his leadership as he continued to steer the affairs of Kwara State.
