Kwara Football Academy has celebrated the nomination of its Team Coordinator and Head of Communication, Mr. Ibrahim Jatto, for the West African Sports Administrators category at the West African Sports Awards.
The prestigious regional award, organised by the Ghana-based Daylight Insight Network, recognises sports administrators and stakeholders who have made remarkable contributions to the growth and development of sports across West Africa.
Jatto, who also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Kwara Kiddies League, earned the nomination in recognition of his outstanding leadership and dedication to grassroots football development in Kwara State and beyond.
As Team Coordinator and Head of Communication at Kwara Football Academy, Jatto has played a vital role in strengthening the academy’s structure, promoting its activities, and creating greater visibility for youth football development initiatives within the state.
Through his contributions at both the academy and the league, he has helped provide a platform for the growth of young players, coaches, referees, match commissioners, and emerging sports administrators, while also using football as a tool for youth empowerment and social development.

Jatto is nominated alongside Monsieur Anthony, a respected sports administrator from Ghana, who is also being recognised for his contribution to sports development in the region.
