Ilorin Emirate Traditional Leader, Balogun Fulani Backs Kwara Speaker with Prayers and Goodwill

Baruten is my second home — says Balogun Fulani
The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and APC gubernatorial candidate, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, has received royal blessings from the Balogun Fulani of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Abubakar Sodiq Atiku Fulani.
The visit took place on Monday, 9th June, when the Speaker and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler at his residence in Ilorin.
During the visit, the Balogun Fulani commended the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for what he described as remarkable achievements in transforming and modernising Kwara State. He noted that the developmental strides of the present administration are visible across various sectors of the state.
Offering prayers for the Speaker’s political journey, the Balogun Fulani prayed Almighty Allah to grant him wisdom, guidance, and strength in his service to humanity, while also expressing support for his future political aspirations.
The respected traditional leader described the Speaker as a familiar and trusted leader who has distinguished himself through exemplary leadership at the State Assembly over the past seven years. He further noted that Baruten has become a second home to him due to his long-standing relationship with the area.
He also expressed confidence in the APC gubernatorial candidate, urging him to sustain the ongoing developmental legacy in Kwara State and ensure that all parts of the state continue to benefit from the dividends of democracy.
The visit ended with prayers for peace, progress, and sustained development across Kwara State.
