Kwara Football Academy’s rising star, Tobi Adeoye, has been named the inaugural Bola Mogaji Player of the Week in the ongoing Kwara Kiddies League 2026, following his outstanding performance during the opening week of the competition.
The award was presented on Friday, June 13, 2026, by Nigerian international and Nottingham Forest striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, alongside the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bola Mogaji, after whom the award is named.
Adeoye earned the recognition after producing a scintillating display in Kwara Football Academy’s emphatic 6-1 victory over Busari FA. The talented forward scored a hat-trick and was instrumental in his team’s attacking dominance, impressing fans, coaches, and football stakeholders with his clinical finishing, intelligent movement, and excellent teamwork throughout the encounter.
The Bola Mogaji Player of the Week Award was introduced by the organizers of the Kwara Kiddies League to recognize and reward exceptional individual performances and exemplary sportsmanship among players competing in the league. The award will be presented weekly to the most outstanding player across all matches and teams throughout the season.
Speaking after receiving the award, Adeoye expressed gratitude to his coaches, teammates, and organizers for the recognition, promising to remain focused and continue working hard as the competition progresses.
Beyond the weekly award, the Kwara Kiddies League also features several other recognition categories aimed at encouraging excellence and development among young players, including the Player of the Match, Team of the Week, and other end-of-season honors.
