The clash unfolded during the semi-finals of the Preseason Tournament, the Value Jet Cup in Ogun State, pitting Kwara United against Beyond Limit Academy.
However, the intense showdown concluded with a thrilling 2-2 draw, ultimately decided by a penalty shootout that Beyond Limit Academy claimed victory.
Remarkably, Dele Aiyenugba showcased his expertise by saving one penalty, while his son, Daniel Aiyenugba, exhibited remarkable skill by stopping two penalties, ultimately sealing his team’s triumph over Kwara United.
Aiyenugba posted some pictures on his social media after the match, “today was one of the most remarkable and spectacular days of my life as I played head-to-head with you. I came into the playing field with my head held high and full of enthusiasm and joy to see how far you have come, you have worked so hard every day to achieve this accomplishment and I am incredibly proud of you.
